A glowing bridge and divine intervention bringing them together, Cyril, acting the perfect gentleman, and a surely neverending conversation–forcibly paused at 4AM

Falling in Love

Season after season

Long walks through the city's gardens, hundreds of trains back and forth, tens of thousands of hours enjoying the deepest, most enrapturing friendship, and an undeniable linking of hearts, minds, and futures—all creating a love that so quickly felt like home.

The Proposal

One petal-strewn spring evening

On a grassy hill surrounded by cherry blossom trees–the blushing petals floating down around them, Cyril knelt with a matching ring and a trembling question; no doubt in either of their minds of the “Yes” to come, from day 1.

Forever Begins

Please arrive in time to settle into your seat before the ceremony. Late arrivals cannot be let in once the ceremony begins, so please allow a little extra time for your journey.

Wear Our Colours

We would be so grateful if you'd dress in these soft spring-pastel tones—come as a petal in our garden, and help us paint the day in watercolour! Black-tie is highly encouraged–wear that dress tucked away in your closet! We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves most of all, but encourage you to take this opportunity to dress to impress! Have fun and really sparkle! Ballgowns, while not necessary, are very welcome.

For the ladies: floor-length gowns are recommended to suit this ‘ball’ of an evening!

For the gentlemen: light-coloured suits, including beige and tan, are warmly welcome. We kindly ask all guests to save white and black for the bride and groom. These colours hold special meaning for us; please choose another shade so you can join the celebration without needing to change before entering. Thank you for helping make the day feel special.

Black-tie is highly encouraged, in our spring pastels: blush, rose, soft blue, lavender, butter yellow and sage. Floor-length gowns and light-coloured suits are recommended; beige and tan are welcome. White and black are reserved for the bride and groom. See the full dress guidance and inspiration.

Honeymoon Fund

Your presence on our wedding day is truly the greatest gift of all. But for those who have asked, we are saving for the adventure of a lifetime — our honeymoon — and would be so grateful for any contribution toward it, in place of a traditional gift. Whether it helps fund a sunset dinner, a night under the stars, or the journey itself, your kindness will become a memory we'll treasure forever. Please use the underground Landmark Garage beneath King’s College Circle. Set your driving destination to 35 Hart House Circle, Toronto, the vehicle entrance. Access is via Wellesley Street West and the underpass.

From parking to the chapel: Take a pedestrian exit up to King’s College Circle. An elevator is available at the southeast corner of the garage. Walk to 23 King’s College Circle and head to the central entrance, at the centre of Knox College’s U-shaped building facing King’s College Circle. Please contact us if you need step-free access to the chapel.

Please allow time to park and walk over. Be seated between 4:30 and 4:45 pm; the ceremony begins at 4:45 pm and late arrivals cannot be let in once it begins. Thank you for allowing time to arrive and settle in.

Cocktail hour begins at 7:30 pm. Reception directions are included in your acceptance confirmation. For out-of-town guests, please contact us for hotel and booking details.
